Postdoctoral Opportunities

Two postdoctoral positions are currently available in Brazil.

Deadlines: April 19 and 20, 2024

1) Project: Co-Planning For Climate Justice

Requirements:

• PhD in Human Sciences ( Geography, Political Science); Applied Social Sciences (Administration, Public Administration, Urban Planning, Economics); Engineering or related areas;

• Knowledge/ Experience: Multicriteria Analysis (MCDA), Mathematical Modeling, Preparation of Indicators.

• In-person work at the host institution (EACH-USP), with field work in Sao Vicente, Sao Paulo state, Brazil

2) Project: Collaborative Governance, Policy Design and Integration, and the Sustainable Development Goals: Concepts, instruments and processes to promote sustainable and resilient development in the touristic city of São Bento do Sapucaí

Requirements:

• Candidates should have a scientific background and an interest in Policy Analysis and the Governance of sustainable local development, as well as a very good command of Portuguese.

• 24- month duration
